How much does it cost to get into the NATS? I'll be spectating.
Do you have to pay each day, or can you buy like a 3 day pass?

Ross

As a spectator, you do not have to be a member. You buy one-a-day tickets ($15 a day through Thursday. Friday and Saturday are $18) as there are no packages.

I found this information by going to the club's website http://www.buickgsca.com and selecting GS Nationals.

You can buy spectator tickets when you drive right to the gate. Would think you could buy all your tickets of the first day there?

If not, there is a registration tent just before the gate and know you can purchase all of them at that location.

That's kind of stupid that you can't buy a 3 or 4 day pass at a slightly discounted price. Every other racing event I have ever gone to (Fun Ford, Super Chevy) offers this option.

Still is cheaper than a ticket to see some burnt out old rocker try to re-live the glory days though. And much more fun.

I agree. I'd guess Friday and Saturday are the most active/highest attended days?

Umm, I'd say its kind of stupid that you even have to ask the question when the answers are all laid out for you on the GSCA website...better yet - You go to Fun Ford events?

Maybe you are a retarded closed minded idiot for only going to Buick events.
I like cars of different makes and models. I've owned 3 different turbo buicks during the past 11 years, but I still appreciate the competition of mustangs, camaros, vettes, etc.

Maybe if the GSCA would put the "spectator" ticket cost in a general section, rather than in a "registration" (which has nothing to do with spectating...I've never registered to spectate anything.) section, then I wouldn't have to ask....better yet - get a life and stop whoring my thread, Sir.

Wow -- I don't know if I should even respond...

Hey Guys,

It is a simple answer to a simple question. The cost really depends on if you are coming alone. Do the math, using the registration form vs what it costs if you just show up as a spectator.

The GS Nationals are for club members and their guests of BUICK GSCA. If you are not a member, please join.

All you have to do is ask nicely, p-l-e-a-s-e, usually works. Other Buick GSCA members could get you tickets as a guest and then you would only have to pay $10 per day.

Please stop, life is not supposed to be this stressful.

Maybe if everything was perfect, we would have a perfect world. So that leaves us with communications, and respect. However today that sucks too.

The last time I checked the gas pump, premium fuel is $2.00 per gallon or higher. So this summer when driving around and you go to the gas station and fill up your TR or ford, or vette, do the math, $2 x 150 gallons = $300.00 assuming you fill up your car with 15 gallons of gas 10 times this summer.

Now your mad about what? $36.00

PLUS if it rains, or something happens that you can't make it, your out NOTHING.

The cost vs what you experience is minimal, unless you bring your emotions into consideration, then cost has nothing to do with it, no matter how cheap it is or expensive it is.

Back to my point. The registration form explains everything very clearly, either pay this amount if you are a member of Buick GSCA or pay this amount if you are a spectator, unless you are pissed off at someone or something. Then it just doesn't matter.

IF you are not a GSCA member and you want to go Friday and Saturday, show up and pay $18 for each day for a total of $36.

Last year for the 2003 GS Nationals, I was in total awe. It was an awesome experience and I don't care what any one else says. Being there is better than hearing about it or reading it in magazine(s).

Please visit GNregistry or GS Nationals for photos and videos from my point of view in 2003. I was so close, and I was just a spectator. Parking is FREE, plus I brought a cooler and food that helped defer that area of concern. The major expense was hotel accommodations.

Good luck and hope to see you there.

ROSS -- I have 3 tickets for $10.00 per day = $30 total, if you want them???

Gotta love free speech, the internet and TB.com, sometimes!!!
