Hey guys,
I know you aren't supposed to quote prices, so give me a ballpark estimate on what it should cost to have the above done.
Low and high estimate.

I have a long distance trans warranty deal going (shoulda built it myself, long story) but anyway I'm trying to make a deal gone bad, right with my "customer".

Anyway,
I have the trans itself taken care of, but the "customer" wants me to pay the $221 the shop up there wants to clean the converter out.
It is a TCI unit and it was only $238 new. I didn't furnish the convertor.
I told the guy that a reman converter is only $60 so $220 sounds WAY too high for a basic cut, clean, reweld deal.

I don't mind paying to have it done, but would rather just get him a new converter than pay $220 to have one cleaned.

Kinda need an answer quick too...

TIA
