My Art Carr converter was stalling very high. about 4700 RPM according to DS and I was only getting a 450-500 RPM drop on the shifts. I pull the converter and sent it back and talked to Steve today and he tells me the converter is built as tight as they normally do them and that I should have a hard time getting it to stall above 3500. He recommended I have the tranny looked at. It shifts good with no flare up on any of the shifts. Could there be something in the tranny that is causing the convert to stall higher? When it comes to this stuff I am clueless.
