Just wondering with the CPT-66 Turbo with a 3400 non lockup converter would this make for a good street car:confused:

yes...it what I had, sold turbo to asloan, went 10.22 at 131 with alky.

Only mistake I made was when I got the Head's changed I had the stock cam left in.Also I know I will need new injector's because the 009's won't support the 66 Turbo.

I'm runing that set up with a BB 66 CPT and it works well. I have an Art Carr 9" non lock up. Drives great and quick spool up.

I was just wondering with an Art Carr 3400 N/L converter what would I expect on the street with this combination?? I know gas mileage would be affected but would it spool up like my 44 with the stock D5 converter?? The car won't see much track duty because I want to keep it together.

It would be close if the 66 was a 76 or 65 exhaust trim. If its a 68 trim it will need more converter to spool like a 44/D5
