He's smoking crack. They are the same. Even the early blocks are the same in the webbing. The block doesnt know what its going to be before its used in production. They evenhave the cast in boss where the oil drain back goes. Both of the powerful 109's i have were both NA blocks to begin with. Both make over 800hp.my engine builder found a crack on the #2 register, going outwards from the cap bolt hole. said it would be ok for a lower h.p. build, but not for my goals. i got another block. when i asked him about the n/a blocks, he said they were not the same. he told me that the turbo 109's are beefier in the webs. can anyone clarify this?
