Cracked my throttle body !!

While assembling my car I guess I don't know my own strength, I cracked my throttle body on my 85 GN. It is the top bolt that goes onto the turbo. Can that be fixed, welded? Should I just get another from GBodyparts? Can't really send them a cracked core back though right? Please help.

If you decide you need one, I have an 85 in pieces that should have a good throttle body. Just let me know if you do need it.

you should be able to fix it. take it to a good alum. welder and let him work his magic

If you need another TB we will sell you 1 cheap. I think I have about 30 back there.
If you want a ported one don't worry about the core.

Not worth welding it up.
Welding aluminum will require re-machining, if the warpage is not too bad and only in one area, etc.

The question is; Why did it break?
If the mating surface is very uneven, the next one will break again.
