What size socket do I need to turn the crank over? Its a big size, and I don't have any that big, so I don't want to guess. I just want to go, buy it ,one trip...
Need to get this done ASAP if Im going to make the Buick Meet today at Moose Preserve on Woodward

I think it's 1-1/8 . You could also turn it over from the ring gear/flywheel side using a large screwdriver.

1-1/8" sounds right. I use my ''trailer ball socket'' to turn mine over.

If the plugs are out you can turn it with the alternator bolt.
