Just wanted to know if these are adjustable?

I noticed that it can be moved, but if it is moved, are any parameters actually changing....

I understand what the cam sensor is doing and why that is critical, but not sure if I got the low down on the crank sensor?

Please advise

Thanks,

Mark

There are 2 "windows" on the sensor, and two "notches" on the balancer. The notches on the balancer are spread apart so that the outter notch will go through the inner windown on the sensor, and the inner notch on the balancer will go through the outter window on the sensor. Make sure that they are going through the right window. It is very hard to adjust so that it doesnt make contact with the balancer notches. Make sure that it doesnt touch. There is no adjustment necessary that I know of, just as long as the notches go through the windows.

.025" between the 3 vaned ring, behind the balancer, and the crank sensor...and yes it's important to have this clearance set correctly.

I use the old method of cutting up a couple squares from a coke bottle. I use those as shims between the sensor and balancer before tightening it up. Most important thing is that the sensor doesn't contact the balancer when it spins.

If it hits the balancer - yes... otherwise I haven't noticed anything at all by adjusting it like I stated earlier.
