Got the JS kit install finished. Drive it and I obviously had the wastegate too tight - too much boost / KR.
I loosen the rod to just fit over the mount and take 'er for a drive. Whats crazy is I get tons of boost and I cant put my foot into it much. Loose wastegate rod and im pullin 14 lbs at not even 1/2 throttle. Beyond that I back out of it 'cause its not tuned right and I dont like changing head gaskets (or motors)
What could be causing all this boost when the rod is so loose ? The vac lines are run correctly too. I was thinkin that since this intake has such great flow it might have something to do with that....
Should I be considering better boost control with an external gate instead of the stocker???
