My shifter works perfectly fine under normal driving conditions, but when racing it acts very strange. If I put the shifter in 2nd the transimission will not shift out of first until I push it into drive. If I put it in drive it will not shift out of 2nd until I put the shifter in the OD postion. If I simply leave the shifter in OD and make a run it will shift into OD before the end of the qaurter mile(127 mph). Like I said above it works prefectly in all gears under normal driving conditions but acts up under WOT. Is there an adjustment needed or should I just go for an aftermarket shifter? Thanks
