I had the cruise set at 70 mph today and all of a sudden the car started to very slowly loose speed. Now when I set it it won't hold any speed. Seems like it's trying to but slowly drops off. The light is still working but doesn't look quite as bright. Any ideas? Thanks, R.B.

I would check the vacuum lines like Red said. If the light in the dash starts going the switch may be bad. I have installed three of the after market stalks in three TR's. This is the cruise stalk from Kirban's. They worked like a champ. Good product.

Found a cracked vacuum line right behind the egr. Works fine now. Before I found it the car started to run terrible and would die going down the road. Then it threw a couple of codes (33 & 42). Unplugged the orange wire to reset the computer and so far so good. Will it be ok now? Thanks.

It would be a good idea to replace all of the vacuum lines if needed. Don't overlook the line going to the vacuum ball under the drivers fender. This is one of the vacuum lines going to the cruise. Good luck.
