Cruise Control...

How do I get it to work? The Light comes on when you engage it, but it doesnt keep its own speed. Maybe im not doing it right...

if the cruise light comes on,the module under dash and the cruise stalk is good....most likely the actuator is bad....
also check the linkage from the servo to the throttle body,and check the vaccumn lines closely for leakes.....

I would check vac lines, but like he said, most likely actuator.

Buy the Buick Chassis Service manual and follow the procedures.:tongue:

1983 cruise control sucks anyway. I wouldn't worry about it unless you drive that thing an hour on the highway every day.
