i saw that on todays news, thats friggin halarious!

last year they did it in a chebby truck but it broke down, they had to call their cuban AAA emergency repair to fix the flat tire

That's what I thought, so I'm already halfway done fabricating an aluminum 'hull' for the underside of my GN.....I'll keep everybody posted, but by the end of this spring I expect to be running the quarter mile in 12.20's @ 78 knotts. (Dammit, spelled 'knots' like the berry farm, didn't I? I'm an idiot.)
