Curious question about stock camshaft...

My car has 95k on it and the engine was rebuilt due to a failed oil pump under extended GM warranty at 35k ago. I figure around 5k-10k miles for the last 16 years. If my math is correct the engine was rebuild in the early 1990s or so and I wanted to know if the GM cam for these cars was still available? If not what cam would they have put in place of it? Sorry for being worried so much! Thanks for your time!

No, it is not available from GM....it may be available as a replacement item from SealedPower or such.

I know it isnt available now but my question was was it available at the beginning of the 1990s or was it already discontiuned? Thanks and sorry for the not straight forward question!

It was available then...probably discontinued about five years ago. Not sure when it went out of stock.
