I was just wondering if anyone knew of a place where a dash could be made to house autometer guages? I have a digital dash now and would prefer mechanical guages.

gnxdash.com The site is down now, looks like domain issues ($$). His name is Tom Huaser aka "dashman". His last e-mail as when I had mine made was gnx-dash@austin.rr.com & his phone # 512-484-7054. He prefers to do all business through e-mail so I suggest try contacting this way 1st. He's a cool guy & does an  awesome job. Too bad the site is down so u could seem some options. HTH & Good luck !!

Is he still doing gnx style setups. there was a post about a month ago that said he does not do them anymore. hopefully that was bs. because i want one. i just need the money:(

I bought mine way before that. I don't know for sure but I would try contacting him before believing that. When I was doing mine I know he had a lot of dashes being made, so if he's not doing them anymore it shouldn't be because of demand shortage. Must remember that the dashes aren't his full time job. BTW, I saw that thread ur talking about & it was about his site being down not that he was not making them anymore.

Poston is selling a very nice one. I saw it at BG. Someone said Tom makes them for Poston. I don't know if this is true or not, as Poston's is quite a bit cheaper than gnxdash.com .

Dash

I have called Tom a few times and tried email as well, but never was able to reach him. I did speak with him at Christmas last year and at that time he asked that I wait as he was really busy at the time. I am in need of a dash as well. I have seen others posted on "the boards" that are home made and look really good, so I may have to try my hand at it as well.
If you do reach him, tell him I need one too.
Thanks,
Bill

They r made by him also, they're cheaper but uglier. He offers various options (amount of gauges, brand & model ) when it comes to building 1 of his dashes so the price varies. BTW Poston's aren't that cheap either @ $888.00 !! + $75.00 for white gauges .

Last time I checked they were $649.00 on Poston's website.

You got me there ! $649.00 + $75.00 for the white face gauge option & still they aren't cheap. The price I cited was from their 2006 paper catalog. I had never seen them go down in price till now. But, you get what you pay for !! They're uglier then a shootout inside an elevator  . They look like gauges that came in a 1970's car. Wish gnxdash.com site was up so u can compare & see what I mean ;) . BTW it's just my $0.02  .

wonder will gnxdash ever get back up and running....or is this still under the "nobody knows" category?

Unfortunately it seems like it's in the "nobody knows" category :( . Judging by the posts in this thread the last person that spoke to Tom was IawoBill who said he spoke to him this last Christmas. Lets just hope it's all temporary so other TR owners can benefit from these unique dashes. Maybe someone that actually knows him can chime in with good news...or bad. Hope not !
