After 12 weeks of waiting I finally got it. I ordered it prior to knowing about gbodyparts.com, so I went through Postons, who went through PUI. My interior is burgandy, but I have the matching GN Grey for the upper and rear door panels. I did a similar motive in 99 to my Dark Blue 86 T, but this one will be much nicer, no doubt.

Project TNX is en route, I'm waiting for the powder coater to call me any minute now for my engine parts.

Looks nice. How much did it run ya?

Jason

$100.00 over regular price, so I think $599.00 for both seats, and the headrests were the standard price.

Poston's is a good place, don't have a bad word for them, but gbodyparts.com is the place to get upholstery, he bypasses the middleman so he can get it a lot faster. And I'm not saying that to butter bweavy up. Plus you wouldn't believe the ordeal I went through to have Poston's do it for me, it took some coercing, lol.

Just keep in mine Brent that the t-type lower seat cushion has the pleat towards the front & the GN is dead center as your covers will be. You will have to slice the foan in your seat in order to make the pleat correct when installing.

Thanks, make that #528 on the list of things I have to do. Right after I buy a header to turbo gasket from you that I forgot to do Wednesday.

I'll be posting pics of the ceramic and powder coated engine parts as soon as my kids go to sleep. It was sacriligious to cover your nice and shiny 3" downpipe with a dull aluminum coating. :D

Back from the powder coater, they have to redo the downpipe, it flaked off on the bottom, must have missed a spot during prep. I'm stoked, turned out just like I wanted. I am going for a solid chunk of monochromatic aluminum.

Is that really powder coat on the hot parts? Sad to say, it'll burn off the first time you fire it up. Otherwise, looks great!

No, the headers, crossover, turbo shield, and downpipe are ceramic coated. ;) The rest is powder coated. I'm trying to do everything right the first time with this car.

We really need a permanent "edit" button. I can't wait to star assembly this week, I am stoked. I have stared at the engine pics for an hour straight. :p

I wish I woulda sent my seats to you to have the material put on:mad: . Guy I had do it, didn't put the pleat on the lower cushion or the seat back:mad: . Does look nice having new material though.

TNX, post some pix when you have that interior together, bet it looks great:cool:

Thanks, I'll start posting pics of the actual car's progress this coming week. My garage is so messy now that I am enbarrassed by it. I have to probably spend 3 hours cleaning it Monday before I even lift a finger to my car. :( :)

Welp, as some know, the engine I am using is a 50,000 mile engine that I just overhauled, didn't fully rebuild. I was going to paint the block red or silver, but after just messing with it I realize that is wasted energy and time. For what little block you can see it's just not worth it this time around. I'm going to clean it up and assemble it tomorrow. I'll paint the block in another 50-100,000 miles, hopefully the latter. :D I'd feel a lot worse about my decision if you could see the engine, but you really can't see the block, so what you will be able to see will all be nice and shiny (well dull) silver.
