I want to drop my g-body all the way around and currently have f-body springs on all corners. If I cut the fronts for about a 2 inch drop will I have a nasty camber?

Also, anybody know the weight difference between a full turbo buick motor and a fully loaded olds 307?? If the turbo motor is lighter which i think it is that combined with the removal of anything that has to do with AC is gonna make the front end sit higher, so i will need to cut just to keep it even.

Thanks,
Joe

A 2" drop is going to mess up the front alignment a lot. It varies from car to car, but I'd say you'll be beyond the adjustability the stock shimpacks will give you. You'll want to look at drop spindles and not cutting the springs, or adjustable upper control arms if you're dead set on cutting them.

I don't know what drop spindles cost anymore, but a set of PP UCA's are only ~$240. That might be the cheaper route, and you get a lot more flexibility on the alignment end.
