D/C metro area trans shop?

My buddy has a 2004r in a stroked Pontiac with no 2nd gear. Does anybody know a good 2004r trans guy in the D/C area?

not in dc area however Deltrans in Newark , Delaware did an awesome job on mine. Little farther up the road but worth it in my opinion.

Anyone ever use Wayne Rogers in Chantilly VA, Rogers Automotive? Or County Transmission in Vienna VA?

I used county transmissions YEARS ago. Used to live in Vienna. But those were basic rebuilds on GM 3 speed trans. Not sure how they are with a performance build on a 2004r. But they have been around a long time.

Ah, I remember the Powerhouse!

Actually I went to Oakton H.S. The year after my freshman year, they changed zoning that would have sent me to Madison, which was actually closer to me.
