Has anyone ever seen a D5 converter in a 700/4L60E application. Actually it is from a 94 Caprice that an older lady brought in for a rebuild. It had near 80,000 miles and she is the original owner of the car. We are the first to touch the car. The car is setup like a cop car. 8.5" differential with 3.73 gears, posi, dual exhaust, LT1. Nothing like the Caprice with the 7 5/8"-2.73 geared, throttle body cars. This car was in excellent condition, hell even the fluid in the converter is still red. She just wanted it rebuilt before something happened. I saved the converter in case I wanted to rebuild it later and have a 2800 made out of it.
