After purchasing this GN from IdahoGN I've never taken it out for any track duty to see if this thing was actually in the mid 10's. Sure the butt-ometer was saying mid 120's in the 1/4mile, but what does this thing really do?

Since it has a T72R trim turbo, Shawn talked me into getting a transbrake for the 200R4. After a big snafu with UPS, we got the tranny shipping squared away. Big props go out to Len and Lisa @Performance trans in Vegas for helping me out on the shipping details and getting the t-brake installed in record time.

Here are the videos from last month at Sacramento raceway:

I accidentally shifted into 4th gear at 3/4 track:

I left the tranny in 3rd this time:

Even with the wheel spin the car runs pretty consistent

It's a hodge podge of parts from various people thanks to John Wilde, Shawn Miles, Rick Head, Len and Putnam Buick. Now, has ET radials for the daily drive.

I don't have the timeslip in front of me, but I think one was a 1.63 and the other was a 1.7.

I launched at 14lbs of boost on the 1st run and 19bls of boost on the second. Probably a bit too much on the Hoosier QT DOTs.

BTW. I think it sounds pretty good as it was thru the single shot ATR muffler that was turned down in-front of the rear axle.

You indicated you were running MT ET Radials on the street. Those tires should yield high 1.4 to very low 1.5 60's at worst, shouldn't they. What's with the Hoosier QT DOT's?

Well, the Hoosier QT's came with the car that Shawn sold me. So, I ran QT's after a huge burnout.

Just a few weeks ago I now switched over to ET street radials but have not taken it back to the track. I'm practicing launching on the trans brake on my way to work to see what she'll take.

So far, on the ArtCar16930 converter, I can launch at 3000 on the brake and actually hook.

Your launches looked weak on both of those passes, Chris. That bracket car of yours is going to haul ass with some decent rubber on it. Maybe not the 8's like your other car, but low 10's anyway.

Thanks Jack that's what I'm hoping based on my mph. You are definately right on that. As soon as the transbrake is diengaged, the tires hook, immediately they spin and it hooks again. The QT's are almost 2 years old. And next time I won't launch with that much boost.
