Dana 44

Does anyone on here have one of the old GM Performance Parts Dana 44 rear ends? I know Grumpy had one a year ago for sale, but I'm guessing they are pretty hard to find.

I wonder if the dana 44 is as strong as a GN rear end? They both have 8.5" ring gears.

When my cousin owned a C4 vette, he was hunting for one of these.

Try hunting the vette forums under the C4 generation. I know used they were going for close to 2K.

I think he is looking for a complete rear axle.

I know a few of my road racing buddies used them. The class was SCCA American Sedan. You might use the keywords SCCA, American Sedan, Camaro,T1, NASA(Welcome to NASAProRacing.com!) in your search. I can't think of any good sites where you might post a parts wanted ad to find anyone who might want to sell.
