David welsh had a pair of Taillights 4/sale which I needed to complete a car, I told him I would take them , he agreed to wait for a money order however I told him I could speed things up by sending him paypal on Friday when my paycheck goes in the bank to cover the paypal, I send him paypal first thing Friday morning- because his address has a space in it , it didn't go through so I eliminated the space and it went through, I got a email from paypal to confirm this, he says he never received it and sells out from under me locally-I think he could have given a day or two to straighten this out and get him his paypal afterall he still would have been waiting if I sent him the money order he agreed to-I find this very inconsiderate-I have a good trader rating and would have never done this to another board member.it's not like I was screwing him around-I have copies of all the paypal emails to proof this and think he could have been more patient.

Matt Ardiere, aka 49-blues, originally asked me if he could pay for the tail lamps via money order. I told him he could but I'd really prefer PayPal instead, because the instant the money hits my box I know the deal is sealed and I'll start boxing up the item.

Too many times in the past I have had people who didn't use PayPal that were "internet dreamers"...the ones that say "I want the part please hold it for me" and they never follow thru with the transaction, meanwhile I have 15 other people in line who, by the time I can give a chance to, to buy the part, have already found another like item. So that means I lost another sale due to an internet dreamer wanting me to hold the part. This has especially happened to me with people wanting to use money orders. I'm sure anyone who has ever sold anything can relate to where I'm coming from.

Anyways, Matt asked if I'd hold the part until Friday when the PayPal funds would hit his account, and I agreed. Friday comes, I get a PM at 9:26 am central time (my time) according to my PM's time stamps saying
PayPal on its way. ship to: Matt Ardiere...

Well I get home after work (and not being near a PC all day) and check my PayPal, and nothing is there. I checked my email as it tells me if anything has gone into PayPal but nothing. I send him a PM at 6:24 CST stating:
Ok I just checked my PayPal and I've not gotten your payment yet.

I get another PM from him with nothing in it several hours later, that has no wording in it, other than the quotes of old previous PM's. I still have his PM's in my box too.

I continuously check my PayPal all night looking to see some cash hit, but nothing. So now I've given Matt ample time to make things right and I held up my end of the deal. Then late last night someone who had their game together offered to buy the parts on the spot, and I had my PayPal 5 minutes later.

Matt, my address doesn't have a space in it, it has an underscore, and in the 6 years I've had a PayPal account, I've never had anyone ever have issues sending money when I post my email addy.

But since you think I'm such a bad guy online, I welcome you to check out my trader feed back rating on here, and as you will see I'm an honest stand up guy, and anyone who has bought from me using PayPal has never had any issues. Also I've had the same email addy since like 2000.

Now, being the stand up guy I am if I see any money hit my PayPal that happens to be from you, I'll gladly reimburse it plus the 4% PayPal fee's. I can't do any better than that.

Patience is the virtue of a king- i already cancelled the paypal transaction after you told me you sold it to someonelse-if i said i want it-you wouldnt gotten paid. very impatient-not everyone in this world is looking to rip you off.

If you had really sent me a PayPal like you said you did, it would have been in my inbox when I got off work at 5 pm yesterday. Instead there was nothing there, yet you said in your PM at 9:26 am yesterday that the money had been sent and for me to go ahead and ship the part. That means while I was at work, the money should have already been there before I came home yesterday afternoon.

After I tried to PM you over the money issue and didn't get a response back, then someone else expressed interest. I last PM'd you to let you know it was no longer for sale at 11:42 last night.

So no, you never sent me anything. You might have sent it to someone else's PayPal but it didn't go to mine. Just like you tried to say my email has a space between it...again I don't think so. If you cannot properly fill out the PayPal send money form, then that is not my fault, and I suggest you learn how to do this.

Furthermore I have been very patient with you, but I will not sit on something just because you say you're going to buy it and then fail to have your end of the deal ready when the time comes. I gave you until Friday like we agreed on. If there was an issue with getting me the money, you should have at least PM'ed me and told me "hey sorry, I'm having issues" and I could have understood......but instead I heard nothing from you the whole night....and then someone else with money stepped up. You really think I was supposed to say "you can get in line because this guy who said he was going to buy them might have me a payment? Sorry but I've lost sales before doing things like that.

I just forwarded you the paypal confirmation that i send you the money, so case closed.

I respond to every email and PM-im online atleast twice a day and most times 5 times a day so saying you didnt get a response is pure Bull.

You're right Matt, I see where you went wrong, as this is the email I received:

Now, look at my email and the email you put in the PayPal "send money to" box. There is an underscore between the "rocky" and the "slater". It's not all one word.

You know, a simple left click highlight, then copy and paste of the email I sent you in the PM would have worked much better. It would have spared the headaches for both of us.

Also I received one PM from you yesterday after I told you the money hadn't hit. And there was nothing typed in it. All it had were old quotes. I can post it if you'd like.
