Thanks Mike...I am a little hurt by the whole deal but time will heal any pain...At least my trans is still in tact (well sorta).

It already has go fast parts on it. In fact those are what caused the HG to go. I only drove the car for a day before I lost the HG. It was hard to believe the HG went at first because the tune on the motor was so good and even when the HG was busted the motor cont. to run very well. At least I had fun with it for a day!!!

we were only 2 more steps away from pulling that motor . Should have check those damn bearing when we had the chance.

Andrew, running with water in the oil is certainly not a good thing. But did you heed my warning about making sure you had oil pressure on start up & the possibility that you lost prime on the oil pump when you removed the filter & let all the oil drain out of the pump. It seems odd that the engine still ran before you took it apart Then right away this ? Anyone reading this should know that when you drain the pan & remove the oil filter. You must immediately have the new filter filled with oil ready to install. Maybe even have removed the cam sensor & use a priming tool to insure pressure. Since the engine was apart to that degree. I have experienced this a couple of times & on one occasion took the bearings out thinking that if I ran it long enough it would get oil pressure. It took only that one time years ago for me to learn. What Andrew is going through saddens me. I was really happy when the car ran so well. But this is an example of some of the hard lessons that have to be learned playing with these delicate finicky engines. I have had many of these heart breaks through the years. I only wish that we could of hooked up before that dealer got their hands in that engine.No matter what please check with me before you go any further with this, At least let me guide you to make the right decisions. About just the drive home about 20 miles...I didnt really know when the HG went because the car never showed signs of a blown HG...So to be honest with you...the time was really unknown.

Lou, thanks for the advise the other day... I fallowed your instructions of priming the oil pump...When the car started I had 80 lbs strong...and the car ran great for about 2-3 min. All down hill from there.

I agree...Live and learn...I will never make that mistake again....
