Decode my car

New person here. I've been trying to educate myself as much as possible about the cars, and what I've bought, but I'm not sure about this.
I was checking the truck codes, and had a question. The car is an '87 WE4, but my trunk shows a WE4 code, and right after that, a W02 code. It was my understanding the WE4 code was what replaced a W02 option?

*W02 Exterior sport package with blackout mouldings.

WE4 Regal turbo 'T" package (Included LC2, MXO, Y56, *WO2, C60, D35, AR9, D55, front spoiler).

So.... in other words, the W02 is basically part of the WE4 package.

 

[84GNTTYPE]

The WE4 package is the T package meaning the turbo motor and all the stuff that goes along with it. It is basically the same package as the T-types in 84-86. A WE4 car still came with a typical regal color and chrome trim.

The W02 option was the blackout package. EVERYTHING on the exterior of the car was black. The interior and other things still were from a regular Regal though.

This is how I understand it all. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

All WE4's have the WO2 package no color cars or chrome trim.

The WE4 option called for specific other options all of which are also on the trunk label.

Such as the T package, Turbo motor, 4 speed auto. etc.
