Degrees of Knock retard - OTC4000

[84 RARE T]

I have an OTC 4000, and an '84 non-intercooled T-Type. My question is this (since I'm not well versed in the use of the OTC)....Can you get degrees of knock retard to show up during a WOT run? If so, how? I had heard that the ALDL socket does not provide this info for the 84 & 85 cars. Thanks for any input.

Did you get this figured out? I have the same question but with have convertoed to an 87 ECM.
