Just want to let everyone know about this guy. He sold me some wheels on ebay for a $1000. Item (8028256262) check them out. From the pics and the description, they look and soud real good. Then they arrived. Man was I ripped off. Wheels where filthy dirty and not. Nothing like the pictures. I think the dark setting in the pics had alot to do with this. They are also not real Kirbans. They are american racing wheels. (FALSLEY ADVERTISED) So I start to clean and polish one to see what I really got here. This is what I found. Polished aluminum severly pitted and corosion under painted surface bubbling up under paint. Now I am really pissed off. I spent my whole Sunday on one wheel and I still would not use it on my GN. So I notify this guy (diamondstatewheels) to tell him I dont want them and told him why. He tells me because you cleaned and polished one I cannot accepted them back. In one reply he said (buyer altered one wheel cannot resell). Well the wheel I polished looked 1000% better hardley a reason not to take back. What a guy. I did talk to this guy once on the phone, he said (we hit them with steel wool and windex and they looked great) He would not accept pics that I took and eventually stoped responding to me. (Steel wool and windex, NICE!)
So being stuck with these thing now, I sent them to metro wheels for restoration. They inform me all 4 where bent and needed to be trued. Does not surprise me. I could feel it on the one I polished around the lip. But could not see it. So $750 bucks later I now have $1750 in these wheels that were in exellent condition. I would guess this guy is about 50 years old, thick glasses, over weight and sits at a desk. Needless to say this spring, Im going to Delaware.
