Shane, I have a Bully Dog - Triple Dog you are more than welcome to try. I pulled it out because I had to take it in to the stealership & now I need to send it back to Bully Dog to get it to mate up to the new GM flash that is in my truck, but it will work in your truck. if you want to make some REAL power I can download the "crazy larry" tune in it & you could go ahead & get you a new tranny in just a few short pulls.:wink: give me a call if you want to borrow it to try it.

Shane, I am also running the triple dog, I leave it on the medium setting and tow and drive with that. It really changes the trucks manners better than stock. Mine is a 03 Duramax(yeah that's right a real POS :tongue: ) and you can change your power settings on the fly BTW. The aggressive tune is ridiculous, I can't imagine the crazy Larry setting.

I am happy with the setup overall. I would like to try others, but I think it comes down to they are all pretty good and how much power do you really need to get the job done and have reliability at the same time

next to efi live the only way to go is PPE, Go to dieselplace.com and ask the question....i believe that should be the consensus there as well...

Never had a problem with my Banks PDA getting warranty work. The dealership recoginized all the safety features built into the Banks, matter of fact the tech who works on dmax's loves it because I can call him with codes and help with diagnosis. If you are in BG this year come check it out, can't miss the 05 dmax with road armor bumper and Banks badges.

With The PPE you put in a Higher program .....and you can program back to stock with it anytime you like ...takes a few minutes at best really consider it you can put in a Hot program if you want to play then tune down if you just want a little more power and go back to Stock when you need to see the dealer IE your warrenty . Really Consider it ................................

You dont have any boxes plugged in or mounted .......you plug it in to the diagnostic port to program and unplug it when your done .

I realize we buy these to increase HP and Torgue
But Diesel is $4.75 here

PPE is not a flash but a programmer that can be put back to stock in 5 minutes...

Can the dealer read that it has been installed though? One local dealer is turning down guys running the Diablo here, just don't want to get in that trap...

no my dealer could not ,,....Call Dan @ PPE ....if you will be at the nats, ill show you...it downloads the stock tune then when you go to the dealer you reload the stock factory tune....
