I was talking to a guy with an 87 Cutlass and he has an extra dash cluster with all the gauges for sale I was wondering if this would fit in my car and what I would need to hook it all up. If it can work I really need to know how to hook it up because like most of you already know I am mechanicly chalanged amoung other things. I also heard that a gauge panel from the Monte Carlos will work in our cars. Has anyone done this and has instructions to help me? I already have the lines ran for oil pressure and temp from my vdo gauges so all I would need to run is a line for the voltmeter.

The instrument clusters are "plug and play", but ONLY for the cars they came in. They use electrical oil pressure and temp, so running a tube would not be necessary at the factory. And they use a completely different wiring harness from the turbo Buicks. It would be much, much easier, and almost as cheap, to use one of the aftermarket instrument clusters for the Buicks. (If you are not really good with the wiring, it will cost some $$ to get the Buick wiring harness "revised" to match a Chevy or Olds inst panel)
