Digital dash question...

I drove the GN for the first time in 4 months. Started on the first crank! Anyways, I could hear a clicking noise at very low speeds, none at a stop or cruizing. Sounds like it is coming from inside dash. Just wondering if the digital dash has some kind of speedometer cable that could be making that noise. I am really not sure how the digital dash reads vehicle speed. Thanks for any help!

Yes it does have a cable and mine squeals like a pig.
