I may need to replace the Battery Volt Idiot Lights as it will not come on (Car stalled and is dead right now due to Alternator circuitry). Also most of my other idiot lights are dim like Water Temp etc. Need help on the procedure to access these warning lights.

Thanks in advance.

I just did this procedure this past Sunday for the same problem.

Carefully pull the instrument cluster trim loose by hand a bit at a time to release all the tabs from their slots. Once you have the trim off, unscrew the 2 bolts holding the left bulb pod. This will release the pod, it's trim ring, the bulb lens and paper gasket leaving you access to the bulbs. I used a pair of needle-nosed pliers to pull the bulb. After you replace the bulb (mine was only loose) test for operation. Key on before start, the volts bulb must light. Install the pod assembly and take your time reinstalling the cluster trim, making sure all the metal clips are on the tabs and pressing gently all around to seat it without snapping the brittle plastic.

HTH, Jimmy
