Direct Scan help

Just got a GN and it already has the direct scan and a labtop to go with it but he said it needed to be taken of the computer and re-installed because of a code that he already took care of but the direct scan wouldnt let him do anything with the code. (not real sure never used it before)
Also I have NO CLUE how to use the program or how to remove it or re-install so any help would be great

Go here and download the user manual to learn how to use the software. Go to the 'download' section.

You shouldn't need any code.... the software is free.... you just gotta have the little box and ribbon cable to hook between the laptop and the ECM.

Anybody can go download the software... and even fire up the software and look at someone elses log file from their DS....

At least you can get the look and feel of DS w/o actually buying it...

Well the car came with the DS but the owner said we needed to reinstall the program because of some code that wouldnt let the program recognize the car or some thing (i havent tryed yet but till here soon) regardles if it works I need to know how to use the program (how to make adjustments and what not)
