Disconnect Battery/ Head Unit?

Is it neccesary to disconnect the battery when changing the head unit?

I've never done that. just keep the ignition off until you're done hooking it up.

You shouldnt have to. Just dont ground a power wire :wink:.

Im done installing my new CD Player, busted the passenger side seat cover while doing it but the radio sounds great
