Disconnecting wastegate solenoid-will it set a code?

Not using the stock wastegate solenoid any more, if I remove it from the car will it set a code? If it will, is there a way around it so it can be removed?

Mark, if it sets a code when you remove the wastegate solenoid, you can go to radioshack and get a 50 ohm 5 watt resistor and put it across the harness connector.

Ask Eric since you have his chip, some of his chips are set up to not set a code.

I removed mine along with all the EGR crap. TT 5.6 chip, no codes

Casper's soleniod delete Harness....call John or look on their website for the delete harness.

Why is it needed? I just disconnected mine, no issues or should there be a resistive load on the circuit?
