Dishonest seller

I have been on this board for about 5 years and have only done this maybe once before, but this seems appropriate to me. I bought an LM-1 kit used from this guy Randy for a fair price which included 2 bosch O2 sensors both of which he said were good (I have the email). I got the kit, installed it and tried to set it up. According to the LM-1 box both O2's were bad. I then had a buddy confirm it with his LM-1. I contacted Randy about it and he chose to ignore me refusing to make the deal good. I bought a new O2 saturday and the system now works as advertised. I feel this guy below is dishonest and does not deserve to be selling on this board. BTW, Randy also promised to send me the missing laptop interface cable, which never happened either.

Hey mitch did you mention you were offered refund and refused. also the cable you want will be there, got confirmation friday , also the system was fully OPERATIONAL WHEN SENT TO YOU,RECALIBRATE THE SENSORS LIKE I HAD TO DO WHEN I BOUGHT IT !



I WILL SAY THIS ONE MORE TIME THIS PERSON WAS OFFERED A REFUND IN FULL AND REFUSED I was willing to send his money back in full, plus shippin but he refused. The cable is on the way. I was doubled bill for the cable and was not payin for 3 cables. I have fixed that problem and A NEW CABLE is on its way. I will not pay for a new o2 ,and this is all I can say on this subject.

Finally this person calls me dishonest. I have never ignored an email or him ,but I am not on the computer everyday and sometimes I'm slow to respond .

P.S. I have sold many items on this board and never had a problem. I have refunded money before as I was willing to do to satisfy him but he refused.

Did heater circuit cal and sensor cal multiple times on those crap sensors that were sent to me. Did all that to the new sensor and all is well.

If you wanted new, should've bought new.. If Randy offered you a refund why didn't you take him up on it? Seems like a stand up offer to me.

I've spent good money for a couple of YEARS with Randy and never had a problem. Did he offer you a refund?

If so...you should have taken it ,especially if it was a big enuff deal to start slammin him on this board.

Both of you obviously don't know the situation and are flapping you lips as friends of Randy. Fact is it is just a matter of time before you too get done wrong by him. Yeah he offered to refund my money if I uninstalled the whole thing from the car routed and secured cables and all. I did not want a refund as the box and cables were okay, just the 2 sensors that he promised were good, were not. He refused to send me 1 good O2 and He ignored my emails and would not deliver on his promises. I proved the O2's were bad when he sent them-Period! He offered to refund my money so I would not expose him on this board for his dishonest practices. I stand by my statements.

Actually, I talked to Randy when all of this started.. Yes I know the situation.

Bottom line: He offered a refund if you weren't satisfied, you chose not to take it.
