Any of you guys tried the speaker foam repair kits? How do they hold up and would they last on a high end sub?

Tks,

Fome

Just re-did in home speakers with foam re-build kits ... easy and cheap to do... if new stuff lasts even half as long as the original stuff (over 20 years) then its fine by me. Costs me $18 cdn for 2 8" inchers.

Audio difference before vs after .... well when the speakers were brandy new they sounded fine now after foam rebuilds aslo sound fine (I'd need an oscilliscope to detect difference).

Thanks Dave,
I was hopeing to hear that it work well. Planning on doing 3- 12" car audio subs. Is there any tips that you would like to share that would make the job a little easier for me?

Tks,

TIPS

Go to kitchen table
Open cold beer
Proceed slowly to remove compressed paper gasket
Refresh beer
etc..

I'm guessing 3 to 4 beers per speaker? 3 speakers should equal...............better get an 18 pk.;)
Thanks Dave, I'm glad to hear they worked out.
