Dare I ask....

Does it have a stock crank??:o  :p

It has stock pistons, crank, rods and stock main caps. That motor probably cost more than building a Stage 2 setup.

He used a odd-fire cast crank in that one, that is why he needed to use the distributor.. The odd fire is stronger and lighter than a steel crank. You can see he spared no expense on lightweight parts on it.

Smaller than stock, oddfire crank around 210 cubes.
We will see how the 109 can handle 8000-9000 rpms

Dave, That is awesome! It's good to finally hear that somebody has a destroked 109 motor because a while back I started a thread asking about this and nobody could really say if there was one out there running... Here is the thread....

http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=108446&highlight=destroked

I know Orlando was thinking about building a destroked 109 because he got a small stroke narrow journal BMS crank (think it is a 3.06" stroke) for cheap and was thinking about trying something different... Guess we could call this latest creation TSM-X for experimental!:D

So what does the other TSM competitors think about this latest creation??
