DLS external oil pump plumbing?

I have a stage II off center that pump is going on. Motor is pretty much together besides oil pan. The fitting for the discharge of pump is a number 10. Thought about going into block where turbo feed line was but it is only a 1/4 pipe thread. Will this restrict it to much? To drill out this hole and retapp I will need to disassemble. I also have a 3/8 pipe thread hole in the back of the block. Is there any reason not to use this hole other than line getting close to headers.

You can drill and tap out the stock location for oil supply from the pump/remote oil filter

there is a 1/2 pipe thread oil port just below intake , just above front cover, and one behind intake, this is where i installed my dls oil lines, oc,
