My 86 GN was repainted in 1987 or 88 do to the factory crappy paint. It was a very high dollar paint job but he must of had a janitor install my fender emblems

Whoever put them on placed them a little to low. What do you think the chances are of removing them and reinstalling in the correct place? Without damaging the paint?

TIA

Ty

should be able to do with a liitle time ... double sided tape ???? (hopefulley)

Maybe try some fishing line and kinda saw at the glue from behind the emblem ,might save the paint

Get a big screw driver and a hammer.. chop and pry them off and use blue silcone to mount them back on. Works great! :p :p

I used a heat gun and I could pry the emblems off by hand. With gloves of course!

That sounds risky. I'd go with the fishing line thing. But the paint under the emblem will surely look different than the rest of the car, due to how long it's been on there.
