I like the way they look and the sequential effect but I don't want to ruin the factory wiring. So if anyone can give me their opinions of them I would appreciate it.
 
If It's just a taillight harness I could sell you a used 1 to modify if that's what you need. Turbo car and non turbo car are diffrent. And none of the other g bodies are the same

You Do Not ruin your factory wire harness! All the LED taillight kits come with enough wire to make their own harness that ties into the harness in the trunk just like wiring a trailer. Pretty easy....

Each LED kit comes with complete instructions and templates so you should not have a problem at all....

You do splice them in the trunk right on the left side inner trunk area at the factory harness connector. The factory bulbs not being used where the LED boards plug in are simply removed and packed with grease and taped over real well so they can be converted back to stock in the future.. This leaves No Splices what so ever in the factory harness outside of the trunk!

You will love them, I do. I had a problem with one side when I first got mine , but I sent the bad board to the manufacturer (Spaghetti Engineering) and had it back in 5 days !!!! Great customer service !!:D Sam

I wired in quick disconnects on mine using a flat 4 pin trailer extension cable . Used one for each side , cut in half , wired the female side to the factory harness ( in parallel ) and the male side to LED wires. The flat 4 pin cable has the correct wire colors so it makes it hard to wire it wrong. This way you can remove the complete assembly if repairs are needed without undoing wire splices. I thought about getting spare tail lights for a quick plug and play set up.
 
It takes four of those right? How did you do all of the wiring. The factory side marker light sockets are still used so did you make the connections outside the car at the factory socket locations?

Here's the adapters I used. Check with volt meter. IIRC white is ground on these

The manufacture didn't use them in the very first design because those plug in adapters were found to be unreliable so they never used them. They went on to say that those plug in adapters failed to make a good proper connection like some bulbs do when plugging them in and that LED's are very sensitive to voltage which is why they recommend the solid connection in the trunk...But hey if they work, they work! right?

What's interesting is seeing all the MANY different installations from members here, each person has what they believe is the best way for them, in the end whatever works is good!

FWIW I wasn't trying to steer anyone away from doing it whatever way..... My intent was solely to show another way of hooking up the lights. With that said I'm sure someone with a screwed up taillights harness, connection, etc will try these and then call up Scott or Spaghetti eng bitching, etc about the lights not working and based solely on that I can see why they want it soldered, etc. No question soldering and heat shrink is the best. I work with electronics, electricity in my career so I'm comfortable using these also,I preferred to minimally cut things. I took the bulb sockets apart on the factory harness and cleaned out the dried up die electric grease and reapllied as well as cleaned up the metal mating surfaces. All connections everywhere otherwise were soldered and heat shrinked.
I have had them in for one summer and fall with no issue. I can say that if you have one bulb out on the front bumper running lights it will cause the rears to act up at one point I thought the boards were jacked up and it was the drivers side inner bumper light out. The boards more than likely are load and or volt sensitive.

My opinion is that they are so cool....I got mine from Scot W. at GNS Performance.....he couldn't have been more helpful to me....he runs a great organization and making sure his customers are always TOPS on his list.....the LED tail lights are the slickest thing ever...makes the GN stand out and bright as hell......now if he only made LED drive shafts........:bucktooth:

Found it. Very nice. Putting this in my file for next years body and paint upgrades.

I did find something I very much needed. On their site!!!
Wheel house notch panel. Some idiot that designed these cars placed the wire harness directly behind the passenger front tire. Cost me a ton of money!!!!
