Buick or GN clubs in the WIlliamsport PA area? I have found none. Also is there any specific TR magazines or anything out? I have never seen one and just wondered with all the different mags out today if there is one. One last question. I know that GN's are appreciating pretty good but how are the T-Types and stuff doing? I know they don't have the "mystique" the GN's do but how do they hold their value?

MAGNA is probably your best best, check out their (our? not sure if I'm officially a member yet) website at http://magnabuick.com . The club has members in PA, NJ, MD, & DE. Really great bunch of guys and always more than willing to help out or get together.

The only publication, outside of newsletters (like Grand News), that I know regularly covers TR stuff is GM High-Tech Performance.

I think that well non-GN TRs might not do as well in the overall collector car market, they will do well in the TR community. This is especially true for those with desirable colors/options. It wouldn't surprise me if as the cars became older and more soughtafter ("collectable" if you like) that more people outside of the community would start to discover the non-GNs and their values would subsequently rise. It'll be interesting to see how things play out.

Thanks. I was just wondering cause I was trying to sell my Plymouth RoadRunner. I planned on getting a GN but 2 days ago I found out my wife will be losing her job in Sept. Now if I sell it I kinda would like to pay off a few bills(credit cards) and this would still leave me with a little extra cash. Mabey enough for a T-Type but not for a GN that I really wanted. I just wondered cause I was not looking for a GN strictly as a "investment" but did want a car that is appreciating and will hold value for the future in case I ever have to sell it in case say she can't find another job soon enough....

Sorry to hear that man, my family has had some job related issues recently so I can completely identify. The non-GN values aren't really that far off from the GN values and in some cases may be easier to sell, like anything it just depends on whose buying. Some guys really like the color/sleeper factor. Either one should hold it's value pretty well, I don't see you losing money on either one as long as it's a nice car and you keep it up well (though this is just my opinion). Hope that things work out for you with the car situation and with the wife's job. The TRs are great cars and hopefully you'll get into a nice one sooner or later.

Yeah I really wanted that GN but family comes first. I had a guy wanting to sell/trade his T-Type for the RR but I just did not think the T-Type was worht what the RR was. I think I may have enough left over to buy it though instead of a trade. Well at least I hope so since ive always liked those cars since highschool.
