Does this car have a 109 block?

I found a car in the junkyard. I'm thinking it has a 109? It's a Gbody Grand Prix. 2-bbl carb.

86-87 3.8 carb Grand prix, cutlass and regals used the 109 block but without the turbo oil drain back hole ..the vin pic shows an A code motor (3.82bbl) and G (1986) so unless its been changed its should be a 109

Does the VIN give any indication what transmission is in it?

Would it be worth resurrecting? This car has been sitting for 20 years. Im hoping that I can save the block.
