Does thrasher spike temp?

I have this funny feeling that nobody wants to talk about this, but I was wondering if anyone with an EGT gauge has compared the thrasher to other chips. The thrasher was a DOG with my alcohol injection, but pulled great without the alchy activated. My Lubrant chip works well with the alchy. Kinda makes me think the thrasher works by spiking temps - the alchy cools it down too much.

I'm not sure that any of the EGT gauges out there will react fast enough to tell.

That was the premise behind how the Thrasher's got the turbo to spool so quickly.
