WOW !...
Must be Spain...definitely "Castillian" spanish ! One of the sentences that is clearly shouted to the "POLICIA", (not even by the lady that gets wacked, is Son of a bi@tch), and just like that, BARABIN !!!. Wonder what she said ?
We take so much for granted over here. I wish every American had the opportunity to travel to ANY country outside the USA, ANY !

Hmm, caught on video no less? Police Dept would probably get sued (and probably would settle out of court) The officer would probably also be named (maybe/eventually?) in the lawsuit, and would probably also take a pretty heavy civil penalty. Somewhere in there, it would probably be determined that the officer committed an act (depends on what definition/regulation is used) that results in him (or her) being fired. Quite possibly, the officer might be criminally tried for assault? (worse case scenario for the officer)
Looks like there already is one person on the ground that I'd bet was also put there by the policia.
Remember, this is in a foreign country where the laws and customs are different but I bet that lady WILL think twice before mouthing off to any other policia!

How about those who think "cops suck", try calling a liberal, asskissin, treehugger hippy, the next time their GN gets boosted???
Anyone ever give thought to the possibility that the video was edited?? The riot squad wasn't there for a traffic ticket...
Someone mentioned the cops getting fired.. happened here recently. Cops arrested a punk. The punk fought them, kicked them, spit on them, and ended up getting his ass kicked. Actually a bloody nose was about it... He's out, the cops are fired, and now he's bragging how he "showed them" who's got the clout.
Bottom line: His bull$hit behavior and subsequent release is an advertizment to his punka$$ buds to behave the same way... Everyone loses.

I agree, Chuck. The post about "cops still suck" is pretty sad.
The same cop that will write you a speeding ticket and make you mad (even though you deserved it) might be the same cop that you have to call when you find a burglar in your home later that day, and that cop will put his own azz on the line to protect you and your property.
Cops only make the news when one of the few "bad" ones does something stupid. Perhaps if there were a news story put out every time a cop did his job well or saved someone's life by risking theirs, some folks would have a different opinion than "cops suck".

It's amazing how democrat's get the most worked up after seeing a video like that (not that there are any on this BB), but in Saddam's Iraq, she would have been hauled off an shot for that outburst. Howard Dean voter's must be torn.

Exactly: we have no idea of the context of that video. They are riot police, so obviously there was something big going on. Maybe that woman that got checked was throwing rocks or molotov cocktails at the police and the camera conveniently missed that part?
