I bought some plates from kirban to reinforce the pins that the doors latch to but it says I may need to adjust the pins after I put them in so before I got to in depth with this I was wondering how much adjustment is in these pins and what's the best way of going about this?

THE STRIKER HAS 1 OR 2 WASHERS IN IT. JUST REMOVE ON (OR THE THICKNESS OF THE PLATE FROM KIRBANS,) START THERE.. THERE IS A GOOD BIT OF ADJUSTMENT IN THE STRIKER,CLOSE THE DOOR SLOWLY, MAKE SURE THE DOOR DOES NOT DRAG ON THE STRIKER BOLT...OH, MAKE SURE HINGE PINS AND BUSHINGS ARE GOOD(NOT WORE OUT) BEST OF LUCK!

Yep - make sure you replace the hinge pins and bushings first. (If needed)
