Some double rollers chew up the tensioner, some don't. Unless you have a large cam and heavy valve springs, play it safe and use a stock steel replacement with the tensioner.
I've been there, done that with a double roller with a tensioner...luckily I found out about the tensioner after I only had driven it about 100 miles...took it all back apart to find the tensioner was already chewed about a 1/4 of the way down from the double roller.
