External gate is the best. Find a used ATR and upgrade the gate on it. I have one- rock steady boost. Just put a RJC on my T to try it out for the stock appearing look and sure enough, I'm messing around with controlling the boost again like the old days. On my GN I have a stock elbow with a Kirban 2 piece 3" pipe that fits on the stock elbow. This is the most economical upgrade, but be prepared to take it on and off a few times to fit it. Also need to use the exhaust sealer stuff so it doesn't leak.
Tttttt

Razor,
Mid 11's is the goal for this motor. The original motor will be built for more HP, so just a good down pipe that can grow later.

If anyone has a stock elbow with a larger than stock puck ill dyno test with a 3" TH style and compare it to a stocker. Id do it but most of the turbos i test have the hole opened up beyond the stock limitation.

I'm going to try a back to back test of going from a ATR 3" ext and a TE44 back to a stock turbo and stock unported elbow with a Kirban 3" downpipe on pump gas with 21* timing. I'm thinking I can get a better ET at the pump gas tune because the stock turbo will spoolup faster, maybe dip into the 12's this time rather than 13.0's with the 44 and ATR pipe. Hopefully I can get to the track tomorrow night.
