I'm not too sure you have to remove the downpipe, I think if you just unhook it from the turbo, you can just push it out of the way...if you don't have enough room, then just unbolt it from the converter at the bottom, and then you'll just be able to maneuver it any way you want, but I wouldn't REMOVE it... if you have to though, it comes out through the top...just kinda wiggle it, up and follow the bends in it to give you more room...while your at it though, if you DO remove it...if it were me, I would replace it with a new downpipe from ATR...I mean your already there!!!
I had to unbolt my motor mounts and jack up the motor and move it slightly to the drivers side to get my stock one out. We tried every way to get it out without doing that but it was the only way that worked for me. Any more help you may need email me twostout4u@hotmail.com
