I had hoped to run a 44mm flange type wastegate on TAs 3 1/2 downpipe. It now looks like I can't buy a bolt on 44mm. Thanks to Fleabay I now have 2 - 44mm V band Tial Wastegates. (item may not be exactly as pictured) I bought a Cottons downpipe for a RG45 wastegate. I'm not familiar with the RG45 do they use different ports for varying the boost. Can you run a AMS500 (C02 setup) with the RG45?
I was thinking about installing a plate (1/8") between an old external downpipe I have and the turbo, blocking off the hole the puck would cover. Then I would have one of the V-band wastegates mounted off of the headers (preturbo) with a direct dump to the ground.
