Yep, definately the drivers fault when I cruise at 65 in the rain in my gn with nittos beside my brother on bfg drs and he is white knuckling it to keep the car strait and I'm not even worried about it.

bfg's stick better but are flat out dangerous in the rain.

Although I can see when you are in the far north and your roads are more potholes than smooth road you tend to get better traction, down here our roads are nice and smooth and when it rains its SLICK!

I have the BFG Drag radials on my Ttype. I use the on the road alot, but only went to the strip twice and the second time i had some trouble with traction. The rubber i think doesn't last very long and ive heard from friends that the nitto is better for tread life. As of right now i have 1,000 miles on the tires and im showing alot of tread wear. So tread life isnt as good as i expected. And i also show bad traction at higher speeds in the rain, but thank god i didnt loose complete control, so WARNING: NOT GREAT FOR RAIN USE (just my opinion, if u want to use it in the rain or have found it good in the rain.. great)

If you're driving your car on a daily basis, sometimes you don't have a choice to run them in the rain. I've been caught in the rain a few times with Drag Radials, and never had any problems.

i think that the convenience of front wheel/ all wheel drive, ABS and traction control has greatly reduced the driving skill of the general population.

it wasnt too long ago when people were driving rear wheel drive cars in the snow every day.

i have driven my car in the snow with drag radials before. if you drive SLOWLY and CAREFULLY and exercise some basic common sense, you can drive any car in any weather.

if you have impaired judgement while driving, invest your time in a few AA meetings before you invest your money in tires that let you drive 10 mph faster in bad weather.

smart man you are

I've had some trouble with the BFG's in the rain, especially as it first starts to rain. I have lost the rear with litterally no driver input (no change in throttle/brake or steering) but i had almost no tread on the tires when this happened. I ran 275-50-15's on the stock wheels and they sometimes rubbed when cornering. no doubt small spacers would have eliminated the problem. i have a stock suspension with airbags. on the street i haven't been able to hold more than maybe 1-2 psi launches. I dunno about the track. i am getting ready to buy new tires. does anyone have any experience with ET streets vs. drag radials? I want to be able to launch harder (the awd cars are killing me out of the hole), is there a significant difference between the 275-50's and 275-60's?
