C cruzn57 Still plays with cars! Joined Apr 18, 2002 Jul 2, 2018 #4 we used to do this on our sand rails, yrs back, ( vw sand rails) more to get rid of the sand, than anything else, under hard use, we did see cracks in the drum, but no failures, later went to rear disc, and drilled them too!
